Una delle principali raccolte archeologiche del Paese è ospitata nel bellissimo palazzo cinquecentesco dei conti Ferretti, le cui sale affrescate dal Tibaldi sfociano nella grande terrazza affacciata sul mare, sede frequente di eventi culturali.

La visita si svolge su tre piani: seguendo l’ordine cronologico si inizia dal secondo, dove si trovano le testimonianze archeologiche più antiche rinvenute nelle Marche. All’interno delle sale dedicate alla preistoria trovano posto reperti relativi al:

• Paleolitico
• Neolitico
• Eneolitico
• Età del Bronzo

Al primo e terzo piano si trovano le sale dove sono esposte le testimonianze dei due popoli che abitarono le Marche nel periodo pre-romano:

• i Piceni
• i Galli Senoni

Dal 2010 è inoltre aperta al pubblico anche la sezione ellenistico-romana dedicata ad Ancona.
Il 19 dicembre 2013 è stata inaugurata la sala “Giuliano De Marinis”, in cui sono esposti i reperti relativi ad Ancona in età romana.

National archeologicy museum of the Marche
One of the main archaeological collections in the country is on display in the beautiful 16th century palace of the Counts Ferretti. The palace contains frescoes by Tibaldi and has a large terrace overlooking the sea. It is often used as venue for cultural events.
The collection is spread on three floors: following a chronological order, the visit starts from the second floor, where are the oldest archaeological finds of the region.

Here the visitor can find rooms dedicated to prehistoric times and finds from the:

• Paleolithic
• Neolithic
• Copper Age
• Bronze Age

The first and third floor are dedicated to the two people who inhabited the region in pre-Roman times:

• The Piceni
• The Senones Gauls

The Hellenistic – Roman section, opened in 2010, contains finds from the necropolis of Ancona and can be found on the first floor.
The room “Giuliano De Marinis” was opened on 19 December 2013. This rooms contains Roman finds from Ancona.

Archäologisches Nationalmuseum der Marken

Eine der wichtigsten archäologischen Sammlungen des Landes liegt in der schönen sechzehnten Jahrhundert Palast des Grafen Ferretti. Der Palast wurde mit Fresken von Tibaldi dekoriert, und hat auch eine Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer. Der Palast reicht oft kulturelle Veranstaltungen aus.
Die Sammlung ist auf drei Etagen angeordnet: erst beginnt der Besuch mit dem zweiten Stock, wo die ältesten archäologischen Funde der Region sind. Hier kann man die bis in prähistorische Funde besuchen.

• Diese Funde sind aus:
• Altsteinzeit
• Jungsteinzeit
• Kupferzeit
• Bronzezeit

Der erste und dritte Stock betreffen zwei Völker, die die Region in vor römischer Zeit besiedelten:

• Piceni
• Die Senonen

Die hellenistische – römische Abteilung, 2010 eröffnet, enthält Funde aus der Nekropolis von Ancona und befindet sich im ersten Stock.
Der Saal “Giuliano De Marinis” wurde am 19. Dezember 2013 eröffnet. Dieser Saal enthält die Funde von Ancona aus der Römerzeit.
