Climate Change: Consultation on the Adaptation Strategy

The fight against climate change requires today to set up next to the urgent mitigation also precise adaptation measures. To be prepared for this action, the European Commission has prepared a White Paper setting out a framework aimed at making the EU less vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. With the objective of putting in place a more strategic approach to ensure that adaptation measures are taken in time and are effective and consistent across sectors and levels of government involved, Brussels has set in the White Paper the dates by which each member State will issue the respective strategy.
